Topic: Then thou shalt have good success
Text: Joshua 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.(Joshua 1:8)
Contrary to what many people think that God doesn't care about His children being rich or successful, God actually cares to give His children power to have wealth. Hence, God has plans to bless His people. Only that it is different from how God blesses those who fear the Lord. In God's plan for blessing His people, it comes with reading the word of God, meditating on it, doing what it says, bible says that is how we can have good blessings. Such blessings that don't add sorrow to it or put one in bondage.
The worldly people can go any length to have wealth, not minding who gets hurt, they also don't fear God in their pursuits for a financial freedom lifestyle. But as children of God, God does not want us to leave the fear of God aside to get money or any success whatsoever, because God knows leaving the fear of God out of our success adds sorrow to it hence it becomes a bad success. But today God is encouraging us to allow t5he word of God in our decision making at all times which also helps in doing things that have the fear of God to achieve success thereby giving us the type of success that last longer till old rage. Bible says, the righteous flourish even in old age. May God help us to allow the word of God make decisions for us. Amen
Prayers
- O God we thank You for another day to live our lives to please You, thank You for the word of God that has gone out.
- O God please give us the grace to always meditate on the word of God and also grace always make decisions with the fear of God. Amen.
