Psalm 55:17

17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Few days ago we learnt that God wants our morning devotion, today God is telling us that He wants our evening devotion too, that means to say, after we have made Him the first in our agenda in the morning, we should also regard Him at the end of the day too. This is more like saying God wants us in His presence all day. That passage says, evening, morning and noon, we read of the story of Daniel who prayed three times daily, that doesn't mean we can't pray more than 3 times in a day, we can pray as many times as possible in a day. All that God requires is at every point in the day we need to make decisions, we should take decisions that God approves of, we should always have space for God in our hearts to speak to us and we speak to Him regarding any issues bothering our hearts all day and then at night before going to bed, we must let Him know we appreciate His presence on all we did during the day, fathers should organize evening devotion for their families where they also teach children about God. Don't just teach them to read bed time stories alone, teach them God's supremacy and God's love. 

I know some people will be thinking, when I'm not a fanatic Christian, do you mean I will be all day spiritual not even one time to do things like the world, why do I have to live such boring life, what happens to living a wayward life in the day then at night confess my sins before sleeping. Hmmm 🤔 well, that is why God is calling us to come out of the world and be separate, we are not of ourselves anymore we are of God. Living sinful life in the day and coming back to ask for forgiveness is dangerous, God may send judgment before the end of the day. 

You are not living a boring life if you have to live your day to please God, the worldly way of life is death, bible says, he or she that gives herself or himself to pleasure is dead while being alive, it is the life in Christ that is life. That is how to live our lives without regrets and hurts. 

Many people ask how is it possible to avoid sin all day, some have even concluded it is not possible not to sin. The answer to it is, the daily prayers and meditating on the word of God is how to live our lives without sin. The every moment of seeking the direction of God in all we do is where the power comes from to live a life above sin. After God has led us through the day, we should also come to His presence at night to appreciate Him and to pray that He keeps us through the night too. 

Prayers

1. O God I thank You for regarding me even when I have not have any regard for You. Thank You for sending Your words to me on how to live my life to please you. 
2. O God please give me grace to live my life to please You at all times. Help me to seek You in morning devotion, evening devotion and even every time during the day to make good decisions that will be pleasing to You always. Amen
