7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

We thank God for another day to get another reassurance from God that He is with us and He will never leave us. It is easy to feel we are alone when passing through difficult times. I have experienced it many times so I know how it feels. But the promise of God at such times has seen me through it all. These promises are still available for us today and forever. Because God's words stand forever. 

Today God is assuring us that nothing will be able to stand before us, including great mountains according to our Bible passage, it says great mountains shall become plain before us. If great mountains will become plain before us, even small mountains cannot stand. 

What are those things that look like great and high mountains before you today and you are so troubled and worried about it as if they can swallow you. God is saying, they will not swallow you, God is saying they will surely become leveled and plain. 

Someone might be asking, how will this be. Well I can assure you that it will surely come to pass. God does not lie. He is not man that speaks for the sake of talking. God says everything He says always stand and they will surely be fulfilled. From my past experiences, I have had situations like great mountains too, very scary and threatening, with the promise of God that they cannot stand before me, I kept trusting God that He will not fail His promise, the mountains eventually become leveled and they are not seen anymore. 

This is our advantage as children of God, we can be sure that our Heavenly Father cares about us and we can rest on His promises as He is a promise keeper. 

Today I want to encourage you personally, don't look at those issues anymore, look at this promise of God. Don't let the situation overwhelm you to the point of getting depressed and doing dangers to your health. God is indeed bigger than all. And He won't forsake His own. Amen. 

Prayers

1. My Heavenly Father I thank You for Your sweet promise You have sent to me again this morning to encourage me that great mountains cannot stand before me and that they shall be leveled, please be glorified in the highest. Amen. 
2. My Heavenly Father, please help me to continue to hold on to Your promise no matter the situation, give me grace not to see my situation as being greater than You but rather see You as the great God above all situations. Amen.
