29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

Today's devotional is another of God's words and encouragement to us who are His children. There are some situations that people plan for evil, that on a normal ground it always lead to cast down for other people, but for us as children of God, God is telling us, that situation is a lifting up for us. It doesn't matter what people say, what God says is the final and that is what God will do. Amen. 

We see it in the life of Joseph in the Bible, his brothers planned a situation for him that was supposed to cast him down and he will never be able to fulfill his dreams of becoming a leader ever again, but God turned that casting down situation around for the lifting of Joseph. So much that later in life when his brothers saw him again after the dream has been fulfilled, he told them, you meant it for evil but God has turned it for good for me. 

I want us to know it that God is powerful. Contrary to how the world is portraying it now as if God cannot do great things for people except they go to use demonic powers to help achieve what they want. This is not true. Our God is powerful, our God is the owner of the universe, God created everyone and everything and He controls everything and all situations. If God has not done something, it's probably because God is working it out already. Another time it may be because God is taking another route we didn't think of to answer our prayers. God is a God of plan and well organized. God doesn't do things for His children that will cause pains, sometimes God might be removing the things that can cause pains before giving us what we are asking for, and God is always timely, before we are put to shame, God always does the miraculous that will prove His great power. 

After confirming it that God is powerful. Then let's also have it on our minds also that with God's outstretched hands, God can turn situations people want for our downfall to become our lifting. All we need to do is trust God for His words. He is not man that speaks and fails. When He says it then He will do it. I pray, whatever situation the enemies have planned to pull us down, may the Great God of Heaven turn it for our good and put our enemies to shame. Amen. 

Prayers

1.  My God and my Father, I thank You for Your words of encouragement and assurance You have sent to me again today that You can turn a situation the enemies planned for my downfall to become my lifting up. Accept my thanks and praises. Amen. 
2. My God and my Father, please assist me to always keep Your reassuring words on my mind that You will turn the plan of the enemies to pull me down for my lifting. So I don't become overwhelmed with the situation but by trusting what You say, I can always know that it will turn for good soon. Amen.
