28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Today God wants us to know that for God's children, everything will always work out for our good. I have had situations that were so rough and ugly and while being worried and praying that God would take me out of the situation, God's still small voice came to me that, God is in the situation and it will surely work out for good for me.
When the three Hebrew children were thrown into the furnace, the last thing anyone there that day was expecting was for them to be walking majestically inside the fire. That is what God does for God's children. He always turn the situations around for good for His people and His children. He says, and my people will never be ashamed.
Same in the life of Daniel, the situation that was supposed to be his end turned out to be his lifting. The people who conspired to Daniel being thrown into the lions den didn't expect to see him come out alive, but God turned it out for good for him because he is a child of God who has always trusted God all his life. God didn't put him to shame for trusting Him.
Another example is Joseph, his brothers plan for selling him into slavery was so his dream of becoming a leader will not come to pass, but in that slavery was where God turned to land where he became a leader. God turned the evil his brothers thought for his good.
You might be troubled because of a situation or conspiracy against you, God is saying He will turn it out for good for you that love God and is called according to His purpose. In that low time, that is when God is closest. Only look out for His promises for you at that time instead of getting yourself worked out as if God has forgotten you. God does not forsake His own and He won't start now. Everything will surely work out for good. Amen.
Prayers
- Great God of heaven and earth, my heavenly Father, I thank You for sending out Your words of comfort and consolation to me today that everything will always work out for my good no matter the evil plans of my enemies.
- Great God of heaven and earth, my heavenly Father, please help me not to lose faith and focus in You and in Your words. Continue to ring it on my heart that all things work for my good because I am Your child. Amen.
